The test

anabasova

Did my seriousness get me
When you were all laughing at me
Was I stuck in a loop of being a know it all
And refusing to fall
Looking at life like it's no good
And there are all of these things that I should
Everyone I ever loved had a fault
But me most of all
So I freeze if you try and get close
So then my story tracks
Now that I play my memories back
Nothing was ever good enough, nothing mattered
And that is exactly what happens
When you try to be clever
And control yourself straight into regret
Until you loosen the grip, until you pass the test.
