SOULMATE

Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke

Notice of absence from Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke
I will surely get back to you when I come online.

I have waited for ages,
Imprisoned by painful rages,
Tormented by my hurtful emotions,
Daily tears mock me in devotions.

The scars in my heart bleed,
In solitude I long for His lead,
Though downcasted, I hope for His touch,
Sleep huged me to the couch.

Like the deep of the sea, I slept,
Healing the wounds of my emotions, I left,
Could this be the price for love?
Love slaps and makes a man rove.

Though wounded, I will give her my ring,
I'm in search of her to bring,
She's a soulmate,
Not a housemate.

Surely she will make a perfect match,
And our life will be a marriage watch,
I will love her with all I got,
Deep up my heart, she worth a lot.

I must learn to let go,
If not, she takes a go,
This holy union is for life,
I will make her my wife.
