Born in atomic fire
They were the universe
Queen of blissful quasar
King of cosmic rays
Life bloomed in the
Epoch moments after her birth
All was him
Three hundred and twenty trillion worlds
In her beating heart
He was never happy
From the moment of her birth she despised
The fact of his existence.
Unstoppable
Invincible
Pointless.
So she reached into her
void-dark bosom
And pulled out his heart
Reaching for that thing an omnipotent force can never achieve,
Death.
So she endeavored
To make every cell in his own beautiful body
Devoted to an ending.
Her ending.
But then came the cancer named man
And the god-tumors they conjured
So defiant of his mighty name
And standing on the precipice of metastasis.
Her body turned on them
And his flesh tore at the rebellious tissue
But the aberrant gods
Conjured cell walls around each of the cancerous man-things
And life persisted
In a grand
Pointless
Brave defiance
Of a god named Entropy.
