Haiku - October 3, 2024

R. Gordon Zyne

5

in stillness grace breathes

sins dissolve like morning mist

soul finds quiet rest

6

in stillness peace flows

the world lets go soft and strange

not joy but enough

7

crawling through alleys

searching for your love in dark

corners of myself

8

each breath a question

each sigh a prayer to nowhere

cast into the night

9

the road twists deeper

gutters of my soul winding

where old griefs gather

10

shadows dance with light

silent sentinels of loss

watch my spirit bow
