the reflection lacking perspective

Gloria Denise

when writing the book of tomorrow

she needed to flip the page of  yesterday

the odd chapters spoke of confusion, pain, and fear

while the even chapters result in discernment, joy, and healed

how could you look at either road, when the present hasn’t been revealed?

Beautifully done! The juxtaposing tomorrow and yesterday...odd and even chapters...all to lead up to a deep, existential, philosophical question that leaves you pondering late into the night. Hello Gloria! Nice to make your acquaintance and I am so glad I saw your poem. Excellent title that drew me in to an even more profound read. Well done! 🖤🌹👏
