Living in solitary confinement

Nicole Pritchard

Living in a lonely relationship

Where the computer is more important

It gets all the love and affection

I'm craving

It's getting everything I'm not

Yet I'm feeling not worthy enough for love

I might as well be living in solitary confinement

It would be more socially acceptable

Than not being given any form of affection

Then I hearing the computer beeping and sputtering

Getting all the affection I'm craving

It's being touched in ways I'm not

I could be stripped down to nothing

Still I wouldn't be seen

Living in solitary confinement sounds better by the moment

I maybe lonely

It couldn't be worse than this

Living in complete solitary confinement

Solitary confinement would be better than this

Seeing all the affection the computer receives

Makes me feel so sick and alone

    Hi Nicole

It's a special kind of lonely when you feel that within a relationship.

    Very well expressed
