The Silence After

Gewar

The procession of sorrow,
Will walk in silence to say their
Last goodbyes,
When you threw away tomorrow,
As you feared that all your future
Was your past,
The void you've left behind,
Will settle in a dozen hearts,
With still so very little space,
For this devouring emptiness,
That has consumed all of your light,
And the nothingness you've gone to,
May be kind.

Wow. Lovely. Few words capture such a deep emotion.
