Notice of absence from Qurrat Al Ain
I'm taking a break for a while, for no specific reason. Maybe because, I don't get as much inspirations as I used to.

I just hope, wish, pray,

And believe with insane calculations,

That, that day should never arrive,

When I will have to let go,

Let go of the dreams,

I hold so close to my heart,

Very close that even if it isn't real,

It feels like one,

Feels like the only way to be,

Feels like the only realm,

Where I can live.

 

Autumn just made me worry,

It terrifies me to see,

The trees letting go of its long-standing companion,

Because that's how it's supposed to be.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I told I'm on a break. And I'm not SUPPOSED to post. But it feels like a sin not to write. When I said I'm not getting much inspiration lately, I meant that before I never had to think about 'what should I write about?'. Because I ALWAYS had an over-flowing to-write list. But now, I don't. Even then, I tried to think about something good to write about and came up with this. Is it normal to run out of things to write? I'm kind of worried.

    Never let go of dreams, that is where the road ends. Your poem speaks to this and is inspirational. The muse of poetry will find you. Look for what is around you and you will see that inspiration lies in everything, it is just a matter of how you look at it. A most lovely write
