"What's your type?" - He asks

Olive Anderson

Tall dark and handsome, or slim nerdy and brilliant, or blond abs with a wicked smile. You name it, if there's a man out there, there's some woman who's attracted to it. A conundrum of factors in ones being and walk of lives leads to their ideals of what is attractive, specifically in another human. Some of those factors or parts of attraction to another figure I believe are both conditioned as well as unconditioned. Nurture vs nature, a phrase told so many times I wanna punch a wall. There was Aaron the christian boy with buck teeth, Maxon the middle school lover boy, michael the thespian, Milo the future prodigal musician, zeeke the motorcycle man or kameron the one with the beautiful mind. Commonalities between either of these 6 men if lined up against a wall like in the movie Brooklyn nine-nine may be hard to find being an outsider to the world of the writer whom these words belong to. It took her years to come to a conclusion. To understand attraction to others within herself. And the answer to the question of “whats your type” simply is “One who allows me to overthink the already overthought”
