DeadRose

in no world am I talented at arranging my flowers.

my yellow daisy joy,
rose red passion,
violet purple love,
tulip pink softness,
Lilly orange laughter,
leafy green curiosity.

but best I could
I arranged them nonetheless,
wrapped up in brown paper,
tied off with a golden bow.
for you and you alone
you may have my flowers,
because you- I know without any doubt-
will take care of my flowers
in ways I know not.

my garden,
guardian of my heart.
