Suicide Is Bliss

These deep dark winds are so profound

And tragedy is just a mile away

And to the deepest of flowers, I insist!

I insist that love goes wrong

So I can have an excuse to die...

No one will believe me, but I really am sad

I am beautifully sad,

And what if I'm a baffling flower

In the midst of a valid chaos?

My heart grows cold, but it is weary

Oh there's something beautiful about this

The treasure that goes untold,

And the gold is buried somewhere

Beneath the babbling sea!

And troubled is the star in the sky,

That lonely star that never speaks...

For June is back

Oh what a solemn month,

She lies in the deepness of blue

And her eyes are as wide as the world

As the roses dance in their death

And religion no longer exists...

Yet God is in control of this journey

And all of the tall buildings sink

For there are no more people

And there are no more cars

That exist...

Behold the tragedy of suicide!

Even the happiest days are dead

And birds no longer sing

And trees no longer grow,

And the world is an even bigger

Tragedy than before

So what do you think now?

Are you embarrassed that I'm

Expressing myself this way?

For I am a poet

Running out of things to say,

For my time is up;

And pretty white balloons

Are being chased by the devil...

I wonder if he is really Satan himself

For he's been after me for years

Yet I tell him,

'Suicide is bliss!'

And what is bliss

Without the happier days?

For the happier days are bliss!

Fall...fall down deep into the hole

For the hole is a sacred death,

And these pretty white balloons

Shall float away

I look so pretty today,

For today is my final birthday...
