set out on the ground
wired up in the trees
encircling my mind
how come I dont know
until you have me all
just too trusting I guess
how long will it take
to recognize the mistake
not long I wont mess up
isn't it easier to push
all of them away so that
they don't pull you in?
isn't it easier to anger
than to forgive and
move on to forget?
isn't it easier to blame
the captor and the one
who let it happen?
isn't it morally right
to be so angry?
so I can protect myself
isn't it safer for me
if I just assume that
everyone is horrible?
isn't it wrong though
to judge so quickly?
for only selfish safety?
isn't it easier to stay
stuck in the traps than
try to fight out?
isn't it easier to give
give up and die alone
than to continue living?
but
isn't it worth it
to see another rainy
storm and angry sky
isn't it comforting
to help someone else
who needed you?
isn't it convenient
that your anger and rage
can be used to save?
isnt it empowering
to throw their traps
back in their face?
now its time
to prove to them all
and to show them
they were wrong.
