I never saw her again

Vishakha

She goes and goes, laughing at some obnoxious joke

Saying that she can't control, even if it's something to loathe

Pausing momentarily, she looked at me, bored

Saying, " I haven't had a good laugh in while", as she swore

I knew it wasn't about the joke anymore, but I ignored

The pain she wanted to forget, took her over more and more

But, even for a while, I captured the resemblance

She waved her hands at me and walked off, and it was the last instance

Carefully worded it remains open to interpretation but as I read it she saw the similarity between her and the author and not wanting to see more left. A powerful write.
