God's Girl

There is so much emotional depth

Between two lives

I pray for the strength to forgive

I fall asleep, but my intuition is on

It never goes off unturned

And every day is a civil war!

That's why I have God right beside me

To protect me,

The latter lights are so far away

Yet I have the light within...

So many clouds are haunting me

I feel solace throughout the day

The morning time is here, behold!

I shall kill the stars in my memory

For the sun is blinding hot!

I shall touch the sky with my heart

For I am God's girl, a creature of mystery!

Such words I am desperate of hearing

A crystal mount on top of the atmosphere

Flashes of April come upon me

And every day breeds a different flower

Yet I am a flower of depth...

For many people have gone to psych wards

And many people have died,

Yet I am a flower of depth

Trying to save the world

For my words are more powerful than my being

For I speak for God

For I am God's girl,

And being young is a thing of the past

I believe in God more than I did before

Because love is more powerful than words

And now that I am facing my truth

The world sees me in a whole different light

For I am God's girl

The almighty queen...

For I am the queen of my own destiny.
