In the Beginning of Our Forever
Now, is the very
beginning
of our forever
and while
there is a reason
for everything ..
Except us,
or so it seems,
unless love
is a good enough
reason
of course ..
Then out of our
reach,
distant horizons
remain,
steadfast but so
remote
and stretching
before us, like
infinity stretches
imagination ..
And so my love,
maybe
we should each
pray for longevity ..

I have been there. A great feeling, exhilarating. At such times I have often wondered how there can be a begining to infinity and that such love must have extended backward forever as well. Loved the poem it reopened some old feelings and thoughts
We call that a win win around these here parts, thanks muchly .. Neville
….‘longevity’; now there’s a word that never concerned me much, but there are quite a few people and things that make one want to live forever!
unless there's summat wrong with you, the term longevity doesn't bother anyone at first .. but then, an insidious awareness of it creeps on on you .. sadly less insidiously for some than for others .. cheers .. Neville

Thank you S .. I hope you & your gang are okay 👍
Pretty happy where I am right now...but don't want to go on for ever... though if infinity has to be tackled then there better be some pretty good provision for this somewhere.....
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞
Ah, the mixed blessing of longevity. A perfect example of the trip being the real goal. Nice.
Many thanks for stopping by Dan .. Neville
