Heart of the Black Rose

Shaheer Agha

i’ve escaped the sweet embrace of this world, for my eyes were deluded by it, i found divineness in reality when i found out that the sweetness of this world was poison, that has kept me captive to this worldly form. Now i no longer seek the pleasures of this world, i leave this world in the hands of the intoxicated; for my lips no longer yearn for the taste of wine.
