Silent Tongue

Meera Mere

So many languages,
Yet I always chose silence
To express all my emotions.
Anger, love, sorrow—
All buried in the quiet,
Where no one can hear.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Oh the way I am in love with silence. I am sad. I will just stay silent. It hurts. I will be just silent. I don't feel okay. I will be silent maybe I will. I feel lonely. Maybe I just need to sit in silence. I need a hug. Maybe from silence?
