TO DREAM

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

To dream
When those about me
Scream
Reality is real.

I dream
Of castles in flight
Midnights frozen
Upon eternal night.

To dream
Of forests
Within my mind
Soul frozen in time.

To dream
Of darkened halls
Clocks hands
To climb the walls.

To dream
Of muffled voices
Intertwined in air
Reality is bare.

To dream
Of falling leaves
Vision blurred
Nightime cursed.

To dream
Of empty rooms alone
Where yesterdays
Freely roam.
