TRUE FRIEND

rebellion_in_sanity

Wait for tomorrow
Wish for better days to come
When tomorrow arrives, nothing changes
You have to run and run

Run to catch the next tomorrow
And the next one that is to come
Feels like watching a kaleidoscope
A life in blurred motion

Life won't give you what you want
It won't stop your pain
Pain of being invisible
Pain of being without a friend

Make peace with yourself
You have a friend
A friend who won't leave you
Till you keep drawing your breath

Talk to him everyday
Talk when you please
Tell him how you failed
He won't laugh at your defeat

Stop searching outside
Stop searching in vain
Look inside your mind
That's where, you'll find your friend

Love yourself then you can love someone else. Know yourself then you can know someone else. Great write

Hi Soren, your words are so true. I often struggle with that, me being my biggest critique. Somehow at times, it feels as if "I" consists of two entities and it is beautiful when they talk to each other. I know it sounds weird. Thanks for your comment.
