Notice of absence from NinjaGirl
Hi everyone! I have been gone for a while, I don’t know if any of you all have noticed, but I apologize for not leaving a notice anyway. I will be gone for a while. I am not done writing poetry, and I have not given up. But I will be away for some time. I expect to return around 2028. Not sure if any of you guys will see this, but thank you for reading my poetry. Please do not worry, I will be okay! I look forward to returning!

I push it down further
trying to forget it all
the more I do the more it fights
but if I let it go it will get me
so i push it down under
try to drown it out
but i fear it will come back to life
because it does every time
but i do the same thing again
isnt that insanity?
expecting it to die?
or is it just wishful thinking
praying it wont come back
I fight it and i fight it
but it gets so strong and escapes
forcing me to remember
all that i dont want to.
