The way I show my affection, something you’re not use to … unlearning toxic traits is something that’s new to you. I wear my heart on my sleeve when it comes to you. I don’t want temporary love, I want you to want me as much as a junkie needs his drugs – ‘cause whatever you want, I can be your plug.
But is it enough? Do you want this to last? Or you looking for temporary love?
Tell the truth and shame the devil, lying to my face means in this so called ‘commitment’ we on different levels. ‘Cause if you feel you gotta shield me from what not only my eyes will be revealed to see, and my ears to hear the half truths, and feeling half empty due to being half poured into - then we obviously been looking at this from a different spectacle. I recommend that you … dive deeper into ... that part of yourself you been neglecting and take heed from every setback and view it as a lesson. It’s either now or never ‘cause you about to miss your blessing… and that’s ‘me’.
I set aside my pride in order to get you to realize the greater things in life. See the bigger picture – I’m a woman of my word, I ain’t got time to be bitter. But tell me …
Is it enough? Do you want this to last? Or you looking for temporary love?
What’s the goal you’re trying to achieve? Does it include me? Is it a one — or two way street?
I can be all that you need, but by all means I need my man to lead. Don’t let society in these times brainwash you into thinking you gotta be on a certain level to receive the “too good to be true” steez. A healthy relationship ain’t no damn walk in the park, nor a California breeze, but if you put in the work you’ll see happiness is unlimited, guaranteed and you’ll be handled with ease, please believe ... but don’t run when things get tough and shit be heavy on your heart, I sense you were different from the start. We take each other for who we are, and in the end I assume we ask ourselves the same questions …
Is it enough? Do you want this to last? Or you looking for temporary love?
