Cupid's Arrow hit me.

Job Welime

I’ve seen you
Maybe once, twice, or a couple of times more,
But something in those moments, Had me locked in, frozen at my core.
Like Cupid drew back his bow, And aimed straight for my heart—
It’s as if every glance was a quiet start.

I don’t want to rush it, Don’t want to be too much.
I just can’t ignore this quiet thrill, A soft spark, a gentle touch.

You see, I’m not here to overwhelm,
Not trying to paint the stars too bright.
But every time I catch your gaze, It feels like day has turned to night—
A night that’s calm, with room to grow, Where maybe, just maybe,
We both feel something we don’t quite know.

So, here’s me, not asking for forever, Not looking for the stars or the moon,
Just letting you know, in case you’re feeling it too, This might be something real,
Something beautiful, and something true.

If I’m alone in this, that’s okay.
But if we’re both caught in this dance, Let’s just let it sway,
Step by step, slow and sweet, No rush, no pressure,
Just the sound of our hearts as they meet.
