the riots are inciting
don't you get tired of fighting
sounds of bullets sure are freighting
are they not
your protest and your booing
what else are you pursuing
you can fight and fight and fight
but today things never change
your protest is as useless
as eating rocks while toothless
the government is ruthless
things dont change
you don't have to go to college
to know that the new protest in knowledge
so quit sitting on that corner
with that sign

Wish I could fully agree (I cannot) since I’ve participated in more than a few protest marches in my time and have occasionally seen them as exercises in futility.
Unfortunately societal change is much more complicated than either of our positions at this point (for and against protest) would admit.
i to often hear people complain about getting bullied by cops and getting hurt. not that its right in any way shape or form but what did you expect. people no longer have tha ablity to manage not only themselves but a crowd. nobody seems to understand that ieven if what the goverment is doing is wrong its not illeagal but for you to interfere is
I don't think we are going to get anywhere with a possible debate here. Our perspectives are too far apart.
Just one small point. Protests are not necessarily illegal depending on where when or how they are held
im never the type to push my opinion on another or debate to make someone agree lol

thats why i said the new form of protest is not signs it worked fully in the past but now even our own voice and strenght is not enough
True, knowledge can be unleashed as the sharpest and smartest weapon at times. Oppression, mistreatment, bullying and everything alike are targeted towards the group that's less educated, less aware and those that are unable to speak up for themselves (which is because of lack of confidence in their own take).
