A Conquistador Of Spiritual War

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

With those evil spirits, I mop the floor,

I'm a conquistador of spiritual war.

Don't get inspiration from modern celebs,

We're grateful and humble but not plebs.

Watching the sheer and utter audacity,

They're trying to erase feminism and masculinity.

Rolling up the sexes of us all,

Into a huge multicoloured ball.

Used to question everything in this reality,

Guess for that my mind paid a small penalty.

Swimming slowly in a dark sea of snakes,

Little by little, the water evaporates.

Starting to see people for who they are,

Selfishness will only get you so far,

Everybody wants to be a star.

None of these A-listers are going to save you,

Leave those old aspirations in the tinted rearview
