Haiku 2

Kerry

Unfit

Breathless, I struggle

Climbing that hill. Not even

a big one. Hot one.

Storms over Tung Chung

Thundering down. An

Immortal clap. Higher than

Light. Adrenaline.

To the River

An army they bound.

Car lights slow me down. Not to

Squash through the rain. Ouch!

The route to the park

Singing, “Autumn leaves

Are falling down.” To littluns

Following with glee.

Geneva, Bain de Paquis

Ice baths in Paquis,

Swiss fondue, chilled nights. Sparkling

Surroundings. Snug bugs.
