The fear of being alone (Autophobia or Monophobia)

Lil

Notice of absence from Lil
If I don't respond in a few minutes I am probably at School, sleeping, with family/ friends, or forgot to bring my device. Or grounded.
In quiet room sit and stare
The shadows dance but no one’s there.

whisper echoes soft and low
“Where did you go? Why leave me so?

The toys loved now gather dust
In every corner loneliness thrusts.

search for laughter but it’s not found
Just empty walls and silence around.

As days turn dark feel the chill
heavy heart that time won’t heal.

dream of friends who never stay
And wake to find they're far away.

The park is bright with kids at play
But in my heart they drift away.

wave my hand but they don’t see
lonely child who longs to be.

So here stand with fears own
Afraid to face this world alone.

Yet in the night I'll find my light
spark of hope to guide my flight.
