Speaking of Bucket Lists

Accidental Poet

Almost everyone has one

Whether they know it or not

To be at peace in nature

Or winner of a lottery jackpot

Dine of fine Italian cuisine

Or paint a stunning masterpiece

Climb Mt. Everest

Find cures for the world’s disease

Swoon to all hours of the night

Adopt a rescue animal

Be the first to set foot on Mars

Put behind bars a wanted criminal

Cross the finish line

Of the famous Boston Marathon

Sing your heart out at the Grand ‘Ole Opry

Look across the Grand Canyon

All these things and hundreds more

On many a Bucket List

Personally, I’ve compiled

Choices I can’t resist

Master the art of an acoustic guitar

Shake the hand of Mr. Carl Yastrzemski

Drive my‘72 ‘cuda 340 6-pack 4-speed

Spend a day in Heaven with family

To hear the voice

Of a long-lost love

To see her smile again

An answered prayer on stars above

If one of my wishes ever came true in my very own bucket list it would be to see you in a long awaited reunion with your beloved Sharon, if only so she could see just how much she once many years ago touched a lads heart, and what that love has meant for more than 50 years, but what do I know, I'm just a romantic at heart. ❤️ A P sending you all my best wishes and my love for your future adventures ❤️

The best tends to be saved for last. But we each could amass quite a bit of to-do's along our life's travels.

                • Accidental Poet

Yes arqios, it does tend to culminate to a grand finish with a trail of to-dos to follow. Thank you, my friend,. 😉👍

Well Tom, a recently added Bucket List item for me might just make it to reality. A few of my well known readers here have convinced me to publish my poetry for Sharon. I'm in the building stages of it now. Thanks for the read and comment. 😉👍
