let the fireworks fly

jim56

time for celebration let the fireworks fly
watching there display lighting up the sky
children having fun if only for a while
holding out there sparklers as the children smile

to remember years ago the famous guy fawkes plot
and the 5th of november that will never be forgot
a part of history that has a special day
that we all will celebrate . with a firework display

        Fireworks do fire up childhood memories. I've always found a strong drawing appeal from the anthem: "And the rockets' red glare / The bombs bursting in air / Gave proof in the night ....."
