I’m Still Waiting for You

Minh1502

I’m here where we left things, just hanging around,
Hoping someday you’ll turn back to this town.
I watch the empty streets, hoping for a sign,
Clinging to a memory that feels like it’s mine.

I catch myself looking, every face I pass by,
Thinking I’ll see you, but no reason why.
The days drift like waves that don’t bring you in,
But I can’t let go of where we’ve been.

You’re gone like a song I can’t play again,
And I’m here waiting, in the sun and the rain.
It’s a little crazy, but it’s all I know—
Stuck on a love that just won’t let go.
