THE VICTIM I

Annasthecia Joy Bissan

He lusts to love,
His pretense amuse her,
He goes into conversation like he cares,
And encounter no pleasure in doing good.

Feelings are to be self-controlled,
Somewhat he allowed his, suggest for him,
Landed on an untainted child,
Aloud a voice of no pleasure pleads for help,
But was not heard by any,
Tears of discomfort fell from her eyes.

Over shadowed by fear, She refuses to disclose,
Oh God! she prayed in tears,
Let him not see peace
Let him be scripted with regret on the day of retaliation.

Nevertheless time shall speak,
In no circumstance will she yield up,
Shameless death will visit him,
If not he reveals.

There is no barrier between the prayer of those afflicted and The Almighty.
This poem expresses a lot of emotions and the right ones at that.
