A love story so rare
I myself in awe
Blessed to be part of
My very own ooh la la
One sided it may be
But I’m so in love with her
For she’s the Sun within my heart
My life’s greatest endeavor
Never would I have guessed
I’d be chosen for such a gift
To stars above my gratitude
Through eons of time, I’d have to sift
Once you’ve known this kind of love
No one else will reach that benchmark
My heart’s core forever owned
Her name tattooed from the start
And I confessed to her so long ago
My heart to her so true
Her heart might belong to another
But love this strong holds me to
My heart’s story so unique
If she ever read these words
I would hope she understands
Sharon, you’re my heart’s greatest reward

A love story that will remain forever now you also have a book, a huge congratulations and I'm honoured to have been here for the past 5 years reading about your precious love dear A.P one sided makes it all the more intriguing for the reader, you may one day reunite with this beautiful soul, stranger things have happened, but I will say nothing in the last 54 years has been wasted. β€οΈ
Thank you Teddy, it's been a long time coming. Never thought I would actually do it, but I've reached a point in my life where I feel it needs to be in print. At least when I'm gone, there will be something special that I left behind to mark my association with Sharon. Something to show that I would always love her like I said I would. Thank you for always believing and always supporting me as a poet. π«
