In Mother’s Lap
Sit
beside
your
mother.
Slowly
lean
onto her lap.
her
fingers
will tenderly
weave through your hair.
Close your eyes,
say nothing.
In that moment,
you will realize;
silence becomes a river,
and love turns into water.
