Demon In The Bottle (Part.3)

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Trying to give the barmaid some cash,
Pint heads liquidate my moustache.
Why did I drink those shots before home?
Thought I had it all easily under control.
Back to downing drinks, how is this possible?
Another day, another demon in the bottle.
Quitting for good at some point in the future,
Spirits hijack minds, I'm mentally D. B. Cooper,
Taking out my old self, Bruce Willis in Looper.
Sobering up on the secret moon base,
Disappearing without any trace.

    A fictional poem?

    • Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Of course lol. Well some parts of non fiction too.

Come to see me. I always add water to it. well, it saves folk getting drunk. (lol). That may be fictional, but I even have to add water to fizzy drinks, or they give me awful tummy pains.
