The Wrongs - They Were Right

rebellion_in_sanity

You: "Oh Lord thank you for bringing me Home"

Lord: "You had a home
You spent your life for so long
    Why do you feel
    this is your home
    and that was not
    where you belonged?"

You: "You gave me a home
    but chained me in greed
    bound me in vanity
It was a house, never a home
I mourned the loss every day
    for what I never had
    I longed for my freedom
and I cried for my sanity"

Lord: "I am not a puppet master
and you were no puppet on string
I gave you life, I gave you thought
I wanted you to make the choice
I wanted You to create your own beliefs

    You made the choice
    Traveled the oft-beaten path
Saw the vain side of Life
You suffered doubts, you suffered pain
But, never did you fall apart

    The wrong choices
    Were the right ones
They let you see the dark side
And, made you seek the Sun

    Now you stand here
In the glory of your light
    You have found the Truth
    Let that guide your life"
