There's something out there, just hanging around,
not much to say, not making a sound.
It sits in the shadows, it drifts in the air,
not really here, not really there.
Could be a feeling, a thought that got lost,
a mystery waiting, not counting the cost.
It’s nothing too flashy, just kind of… there—
like that tune you forgot, like that blank little stare.
Maybe it's something, maybe it's not,
just one of those things we almost forgot.
Nothing too big, nothing too bold,
just something unknown, a bit quiet, a bit close.
