A Little Boy Wonders

Kevin Hulme

A little boy sat on the golden sand ,

To ponder the themes of Life and Man.

Do Psychics believe in Love at Second Sight,

The Emu has wings but is never in flight.

Are Snowmen wearing Scarfs to keep warm -  a mistake,

Is Escargot a ‘Fast Food’  that is laid on a plate.

All  Corpses unknown share the same name of ‘Doe’,

If only Liz Hurley had been taught how to sow.

Does Spider-Man have problems

getting out of the bath,

Did anyone see a Dictator Just having a good laugh.

Why is a Map just hard to refold,

And the Royals catch a ‘Chill’, But never a ‘Cold.

How big is ‘Cerberus’ that three-Headed mutt ,

And the Mobility-Scooter of Jabba the Hut.

These and much more now fill up his Brain,

But what is this life if all things are explained.
