Notice of absence from NinjaGirl
Hi everyone! I have been gone for a while, I don’t know if any of you all have noticed, but I apologize for not leaving a notice anyway. I will be gone for a while. I am not done writing poetry, and I have not given up. But I will be away for some time. I expect to return around 2028. Not sure if any of you guys will see this, but thank you for reading my poetry. Please do not worry, I will be okay! I look forward to returning!

in the silence
my thoughts consume me
the past pollutes the future
anything could happen
in the silence
I hear your voice again
like its right here now
your words drown me
in the silence
my mind is my enemy
memories of you
appear and overtake
in the silence
in the silence
in the silence, I suffer alone
in the silence.
when will I quit the silence?
scream for solace?
in the silence
when will I fight it?
when will I stop being my own victim in my own prison?
