I Lean On You

I lean on you

In deepest shadow, where troubles lie,
I lift my gaze to the endless sky,

With whispered prayers, my heart takes flight,
Seeking solace in the softest light.

When burdens weigh like a heavy stone,
And paths ahead arn’t clearly known.

I turn my thoughts to the heavens above,
In search of strength, in search of love.

O God, my refuge, my guiding star,
In moments of doubt, you’re never far.

Your gentle hand, a soothing oil for my soul,
Restoring my spirit and making me whole.

Through storms that rage and tempests wild,
In your embrace I find my peace, like a trusting child.

For in your presence, fears fade away,
And hope is born with each new day.

So when the nights feels dark and long,
I’ll sing to you a steadfast song,

For in my heart, I know it’s true,
With every breath, I’ll lean on you.
