vacant tables
my glass of wine for company
staring at the abandoned street
damp with rain
I waited
you didn't come
despondence
a guttersnipe dependent on attention
no remedy
my glass of wine my companion
headstone afternoon

I enjoyed your poem. I liked the image and your words. Especially liked "headstone afternoon" and "my glass of wine for company." For a short poem it created a sense of disillusion and ennui. - Phil A.
Thank you. Just something about that picture made me feel very alone - hence the poem. Thank you very much for the read and comments.
