Nehemiah

mtrotter1

I've seen these broken roses before

And I no longer feel alone

My heart trembles at the sight of you

This jazz tale I hear in my head

Has come back to haunt me

And then there you are

With eyes that remind me of heaven

I know it sounds cheesy

But the inspiration is definitely there

You see me

And I see you...

What love is better than inspiration?

For love is just a thing on a string

But when you add inspiration

It becomes bigger,

Much bigger than the average bear!

And I see these broken roses

In spite of you,

And I take these broken roses

And I hold them close to my heart

For I never want to let you go, again.
