In Retrospect

Spencer Wilhelm

Extraordinary

What a funny word

How does one become

Extraordinary?

Napoleon must have been one

Think of all the reform be brought

The French finally were fearsome

Myriad souls were damned and lost

Extraordinary

That didn't stop him

Is that what makes him

Extraordinary?

If I became a murderer

And mentally came out alive

Even if I was just a burglar

Can I make my conscience survive?

Extraordinary

That truly I am

Why wouldn't I be

Extraordinary?
