Never Away

Young Fella

Never Away

Like the sun shining bright through the day

A gentle rain falling softly overhead,

A spring breeze caressing strands of hair,

Stars in the sky when the day is done.

Hearts beating, day and night,

A constant presence, through joy and pain.

Never astray, never away

Pervasive in the brain,

A searing amber sun.

Wavering sensation

Painful illumination

"The sun never knows shadow"
