Cousins

Spencer Wilhelm

Poke, poke, poke

Shies then runs away

Poke, poke, poke

Confidently jabs

Now I unleash the frightening bear

And quick as lightning I spring up

The fear with which he was all care

Lights up his eyes as in a pup

The thief fleeing justice itself

Jumps table and all

Knowing nimbly nothing himself

But to make him fall

Around, round, round the room we ran

Dashing to and fro

The chaser, evil man I am,

Stubbing all his toes

Up, then down, crashing to the floor

In my decent one final grasp

Avenging suffering endured

Caught in my death grip squirming fast

"I'm slain and know it's all your fault

And nothing will release my hand

So say your prayers, you're in my vault

Soon decomposing back to sand"
