Decided not to

Maplespal

Decided Not to

Silently the path is reviewed ahead,

trying to remember the words they said.

Left is the safest way to go,

or was it right, I don't really know.

Pausing to review what was said and knew,

I mean this is something I don't have to do.

It is but a shorter distance to my car,

ahead it just seems it is going to be far.

Contemplating I fought with my mind,

left or right the answer to find.

A decision, yep that is what I made,

back to the car in the distance I fade.

Decisions are often difficult to make, and we vacillate from one to another. In the end, it may all be the same. A good writing.
