The Nose

The nose

You have one and so do I,

A little nose that turns red when we lie.

It sits on our faces, front and center,

Making us leave even before we enter!

Yes, our head is its throne, so proud and so bold,
With nostrils like tunnels, where secrets are told.

Oh, the nose, that curious thing,
A honker, sniffer, a snot factory king!

It wiggles and jiggles, it snorts and it sneezes,
It’s the source of our laughter, and sometimes, our wheezes.

It sniffs out the cookies, the pizza, the fries,
But also the odors that make us say “Yikes!”

It’s a champion at picking, a master of flair,
But beware of the boogers that lurk in there!

With a tissue in hand, we wage a small war,
Against the green monsters that hide and explore.

So here’s to the nose, with its quirks and its charms,
A funny little feature that keeps us from harm.

Let’s honor our noses, whether large or petite,
For without them, my friends, life would be incomplete!
