Oh father....

ashley!

Notice of absence from ashley!
I will not be on during the weekends.

Five years have drifted,
Words lost in a still silence,
No bridge left to cross.

Once warm promises,
Now echoes of what we dreamed,
Faded like old art.

Your heart feels so light,
Yet burdens weigh on your soul,
Empty, yet so full.

I've tried to break free,
Caught in the pull of your lies,
Love’s just a sharp edge.

Hopeless, I find words,
That spark in the dark of night,
Yet we fade away.

In shadows we stand,
Memories dance, then retreat,
Whispers of the past.

Time slips like water,
Five years gone with a blink’s touch,
Yet still, you linger.
