A magpie softly sits
in colours that seem to help
black white and blue
sleepy sky cotton clouds
and soft brightly balanced daytime dream
all part of the same
all colours softly sighing
softly smiling
in one beautiful bird
black white and blue
sleepy sky without twinkling stars
lightly living with the cotton clouds
without the falling of raindrop tears
softly smiling easily
in the right place
in a dreaming blue sky
the magpie , all in three colours
seems ok
with all of these
side by side
with one bird
just right
just like the sky and clouds circling side by side
magpie holds the sky
and those parts
the clouds
in her essence
flying the sky with ease
meant to be in black white and blue
always flying the sky
and resting on trees

A bird flying on its own, even in blue sky feels sorrowful, yet your lines speak of freedom. Your poem is visually beautiful and full of movement. Lots of folklore about magpies. An enjoyable read.
