Sighing
I wander why
why I’m in a bubble
distance within
distance around
distance
like anything that can’t sense their essence
that flower who doesn’t feel like the flower she is
unable to sense the true nature within
just felt is a emptiness
wanting to sense herself
but what’s felt is a gap a space
somethings missing
somethings wrong
me and that sense of me
I sense ‘ someone ‘
but it isn’t me

- Comment from author about the poem: When we feel distanced from ourselves and things around us .. that feels like a lonely sad place to be Not always sensing me That’s sad Tried a walk today , with someone I live with . Managed to the top of the road, then turned around . It can be hard to feel so disconnected .. sometimes

Wonderful write! "I sense 'someone' / but it isn't me" Wow! Powerful ending to a powerful poem. Well done! 🌹👏
Yes .. that’s how it sometimes feel .. like it just ‘ isn’t me ‘
Thanks for the kind comment
A difficult position to find yourself in dear Caring dove. You describe that emptiness so well. I found your final words both sad and moving. Take good care of yourself.
It is difficult , yes .. and can be quite tiring to deal with . Tho today I managed to get to town .. even tho at first felt like an effort , I do try .. some days are more difficult than others . Thanks for your kindness
You are welcome and well done getting into town .
I can't be you, of course, but not had any, or not much, experience of dissociation. Just getting out of the house may help though, if literally, only a few steps.
Wow deep
🤔
Nice one x
Thanks dolly ))
