November rain

Alan R

November is here and not without

That unforgiving melancholy

Love and truth are trying to mix

In my tired heart‘s alchemy

And trying to mix, warm and cold

November,  rains and we step out

On a neutral side of ‚its okay‘

With dry lips on hopeful mouths

There’s a hint of gold, I try to hold

Walking down this amber stretch

And November rain is here to steal

Every inch of space in my humble breath

Rustic and alone, dark and sure

I see how this evening has come to be

I could choose to cry or laugh along

With all that feeds, November’s glee.
