A blade walks around the earth
Shedding tears and in search of a rest
Musing over a torrid affair
Looking at a memory with a thousand yard stare
Imbued with melancholia
The now confirmed fears
Left him adrift and stranded
The once dashing and lively blade
Rambles through his final resting place
Fighting the urge to plunge into an early grave
Contemplating whether that would end his pain
My shaveling boy ,
Take a promenade in the land of your past sayings
Where you vowed to never become a stray
To never settle for a withering love
That does not have the approval of God
Stay far from this covert insanity
As if it faded into oblivion
My shaveling boy,
You have to land on home soil
It is time to create your own joy
It is the epoch of blooming flowers
You can recover those mortiferous hours
You can endure this volatile disposition
But ad interim , mark your region
Come back to our loving hug
We are here only to rejuvenate your heart
I beg you to leave the land of the dead
I beg you to accede my ever lasting help
It has been there since you left

I found your entire poem intriguing .. indeed fascinating, would be more precise and I enjoyed every morsel of it .. I also appreciate your authors note which made my interpretation of the infrequently heard but not entirely new to me term, shaveling more informed .. and am glad I guessed right .. I'm gonna give todays gift a dubble ππand hope your brother is feeling a bit better now .. six years is a long time .. π€
Thank you so much for your kindness and support! I'm glad i helped you remember the word shaveling.
My brother will surely have some rough days but he is very strong and he'll get over it at some point.thank you once again for always being so kind!
Reading the authors note, it makes a great deal of sense before I read it. I was thinking of the prodigal son nevertheless a wonderful write in any regard. This poem reflects deep emotions of love, longing, and missing someone very nicely done
